Jan. #10: Conan Leaves, Kindle Apps, and Youtube.


Conan has left the tonight show for good, but he did get some extra cash. He was giving a 45 million dollar severance package, but he can not host a show until September 2010. After Apple showed off their tablet, Amazon started selling apps for the Amazon e Reader to keep up with the competition. You can now watch movies on Youtube from the Sundance film festival. They cost$3.99.

Jan. #9: Apple, Rock Band, and Torchwood Remake!


Apple confirmed its new tablet, on January 27 the will hold an invite only conference to show it off. The Rock Band network was opened today to allow any bands upload their music to Rock Band. So now everyone can buy and play anything really. The BBC hit show Torchwood we be remade in the U.S., it focuses on aliens and stuff. It was a very cool show. so that would be cool to see it again.

Jan. #8: NBC, Google, and Ghost Busters 3.


This Friday may be the last time Conan does the Tonight Show! Other talk show hosts are still made about being pushed back so late. Google is updating its maps to show the destruction of Haiti to help Aid organizations asses the damage. The original director for the Ghost Busters series is returning to direct the next Ghost Busters. It is set to start filming next year.

Jan. #7: Google, Net Flix,


Google said that it will stop censoring searches in China, and may pull out of the country all together. The Wii will now be able to play Netflix now with its online streaming video.

Jan. #6: Conan Says No, Nexus One, Google Earth, and Marijuana.


Conan O' Brian will leave the tonight show if it is pushed to 12:05 AM, he also apologized for his hair. On the new Nexus One phone contract you might have to pay up to an additional $500 dollars, Google Earth is also replacing billboards in street view with their own ads. Marijuana has been legalized for people over age 21.

Jan. #5: NBC, Detroit Auto Show, and No More Spider Man.


NBC moved the Jay Leno talk show to 11:30 and bumped O'Brien to show after midnight! Ford swept the car and truck awards at the Detroit Auto Show. This only the third time in 17 years that a single auto maker has won both categories. Spider man four is dead! Sony has said the new movie will not be moving forward and they will start casting for a new film in the summer of 2012.

Jan. #4: Nexus One Controversy, Lost Delayed, and Modern Warfare 2


The Dick family is saying that the Nexus One is a copy right infringement from android models named the Nexus Six in the novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" Google said they asked permission to use the name Nexus One and unless the consumer makes a connection between the Dick estate and the phone then the point may be moot. The season final of Lost may be delayed due to President Obama's State of teh Union Address. An MMA fighter credits Modern Warfare 2 with his full recovery from a broken hand, he played the video game for the past year and it helped him rehabe his injury.

Jan. #3: New Microsoft Tablet, iPhone Copter, and Big Movie Delayes


There is a new Microsoft tablet coming out and it has multi touch functions and an e-reader. Apple is releasing an RC helicopter that is fully controllable by an iPhone or iPod touch. Spider man 4 can't figure who they want for a villian and Robocop has also been put on hold because the director doesn't want to make it in 3D like the studio does.

Jan. #2: Nexus One, 3D Tv Sets, and a New Dune Movie.


Google unveiled the Nexus One to the world, it is starting at $5.30. It's the new smart phone and has a large voice recognition system that you can use instead of typing. There are new 3D TVs coming soon to the market, a lot of content will be released with it. Espn is broadcasting 85 sports events over the next in full 3D! French director Morel is taking over the adaptation of the novel Dune. Hopefully this one is good.

Jan. #1: Avatar, Bono says Nono, and Hands Free Gaming,


The film Avatar has taken in over on billion dollars, it is the fourth highest grossing film of all time. Bono from U2 says the file sharing over the internet is going to ruin the music industry. He also said that because of the free sharing, new young artists wont be able to hold up and will fail. The new technology is muscle sensing so you can play guitar hero with an air guitar!
